“I created this piece complete and utter artist block. How I made it you may ask? I did what I always do when I am completely lost.
Listen to a lot of music. I listened to Smashing Pumpkins’ “Siamese Dream” on repeat for weeks, mindlessly sketching. I ended up building a sort of puzzle of ideas that meant anything and nothing at the same time. I decided to paint all of these pieces, and simply create an arrangement of canvases afterward.
This is the exact process I use to this day, now a little more streamlined of course haha.” - Eric Olcsvary
